HeyHalaal Listing Submission — Terms & Conditions
1. Recognised Certification Bodies Only
HeyHalaal only publishes listings for businesses certified by halal certification bodies that are
recognised by the World Halal Council (WHC) or that adhere to an
ISO-accredited halal certification standard (e.g. SANAS-accredited bodies in South Africa).
Submissions claiming certification by unrecognised bodies will be declined.
2. Accepted South African Bodies
Currently accepted: SANHA (South African National Halaal Authority), NIHT (National Independent Halaal Trust),
and MJCHT (MJC Halaal Trust). All are members of or recognised by the WHC.
3. Accuracy of Information
By submitting, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
Submitting false or misleading information may result in the listing being removed and the submitter being banned.
4. Community-Verified Listings
If no formal certification body is known, the listing will be marked as Community Verified pending
confirmation. Community-verified listings are clearly distinguished from formally certified listings.
5. Right to Decline
HeyHalaal reserves the right to decline, edit or remove any submission at its sole discretion, without
obligation to provide a reason.
6. Privacy
Your personal details are collected solely for verification purposes and will not be published or shared

7. No Guarantee of Publication
Submission does not guarantee listing. All submissions are manually reviewed by the HeyHalaal team.
